I'm glad you're here. You'll find quilt patterns designed for your success. All of patterns include color diagrams and clear instructions. As a quilt teacher, I have spent many years learning how my students learn. I write my patterns to reflect my understanding of how you, the quilter, approach a pattern.

I have been quilting for about 10 years. I started by teaching myself some quilting and getting a job at a local quilt shop. I took lots of quilt classes and picked the brains of all the teachers I could. Soon after, I started teaching quilting classes. I enjoy this very much. I truly love to see the "Quilting Bug" catch on. I still teach as often as possible. Mostly I teach my own patterns now, and with regret, I have had to give up working one day a week at Mabelena's Quilting Supplies & Comforts. I still teach classes there, but time constraints have made it impossible to continue working. I will really miss it.
I have been designing quilts for quilt fabric companies for a couple years now. This is a great way to get to play with a lot of new fabric before anyone else! Could anything be more fun?!?
I am committed to providing well written, easy to understand quilt patterns. All of our patterns are tested on "real People" for accuracy. You can be assured you are getting a very good product when you buy our patterns.
Most days you will find me at home, sewing and designing new patterns. I have two great kids and a wonderful husband who support me in my efforts. Life is good.
