We are now in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, our new home after moving from Salhouse, Norfolk. Even though our new back garden is super small (typical of a city terrace house, in the UK), we still able to keep bees.
Though now only consisting of one hive, due to our move, we still have the room to add more hives as the bee season progresses.
This being the second week this year with glorious sunshine in Sheffield, we are doing our first hive inspection, to see how this hive has coped throughout our harsh winter.
Please fell free to comment and give me your views on our inspection... and my silly mistake saying crown board instead of queen excluder.
